Life is the sequence of physical and mental experiences that make up the existence of an individual.
Becoming a single mom was definitely something I never thougth I would face and a journey that seemed unbearable at times. It forced me to redefine who I was and what I was going to do with my life. I had the choice to hold on to anger and bitterness or to let my heart be healed and continue to love. This required me to look inside and not to hide the pain.
Life can only be lived to its fullest when you know who you are and have purpose. Finding your identity has much to do with knowing your Creator, after all He does know you more than anyone else! This is when life can be lived with peace, love and grattitude of heart!
His love has held me in an inexpressible way! I fall in love with Him more each day.
I have tremendous support from my mom and dad! Their unfailing love has been overwhelming! I am thankful to have wise parents who seek God with their WHOLE heart. I am thankful to have examples of unconditional love.
Having a compassionate Pastor and Mentor helped establish and encourage me to move forward. Going through my divorce and other changes in life would have been next to impossible without these two influences. I encourage you to find people in your life to help you move forward and be the encouragement you may need when life throws curve balls.
I recently heard a hymn that posed a question in my heart as I heard one of the verses. The hymn is as follows:
Hope everyone is doing well! Me? Well, I’m mainly trying to stay warm. It’s cold down here in Texas!!
